Meditation helps to promote relaxation. Find your relaxation routine and dedicate yourself to it. It may feel like a chore at first, but over time, you’ll naturally feel more relaxed at all times. You’ll be better equipped to handle the daily stresses, including the negativity you’ll find on the news every day.

2. Control what you see and intake –
It’s important to stay away from the false news during this time, as it just promotes negatively and panics.
You can choose to turn off the television and choose the type of news you would like to subscribe to. Trust that if there’s something big going on, you’re going to find out about it one way or another.
3. Laugh Often –
“laugh is the best medicine” Find things that make you truly happy – and do them often. If you’re having trouble finding something, try watching a funny movie or going to see a standup comedian.

4. Gardening –
The study suggests the act of making your particular stretch of nature into a haven can be a stress reliever in itself, and the garden that you create can bring you even more peace.
You can spend some time gardening plants. The beauty of nature is a great stress reliever in itself. (Just think of how many times relaxation has been connected with pictures of stunning landscapes or recordings of nature’s sounds.) Having your own bit of beauty available as a place for meditation, contemplation, and relaxation can provide quite a bit of relief from stress. It’s all part of making your home a haven from stress.
5. Listening to some good music –
Research has shown that music with a strong beat can stimulate brainwaves to resonate in sync with the beat, with faster beats bringing sharper concentration and more alert thinking, and a slower tempo promoting a calm, meditative state.
6. Spend some quality time with your family –
I used to call my father “Weekend Papa” because used to see them over the weekend only.
That’s the time to spend some good time with your family, talking about some random things. Having dinner together, Helping each other with in house chores.
7. Cook something delicious –
Physically, cooking satisfies an immediate need and offers quick gratification. Because honestly, at the end of the day, we’re all just a bunch of animals who need to eat.
